Commercial Milestone Billing
Custom software engineering engagements are billed across two milestones (a 30% kickoff deposit and a 70% post-staging completion balance). Because engineering hours and custom code are allocated upon milestone commencement, cleared milestone payments are non-refundable except where required by non-excludable applicable law.
1. Commercial Engineering and Client Development Services
NexaTools provides custom software engineering, web application development, and workflow automation for business and individual clients. Because custom development involves dedicated engineering labor, architecture planning, and bespoke code, commercial engagements follow a milestone-based non-refundable billing structure:
- Milestone Finality: Except where required by non-excludable statutory consumer protection laws, payments for completed or commenced milestones—including the 30% initial deposit and the 70% delivery settlement—are final and non-refundable once cleared.
- Allocation of Engineering Capacity: Custom software development requires scheduling developer capacity, technical research, repository setup, and architecture design immediately upon kickoff. Allocated engineering time cannot be restocked or reversed.
2. 30% Kickoff Deposit & 70% Delivery Balance
The 30% advance deposit reserves engineering bandwidth and covers initial technical specification, repository scaffolding, database schema design, and sprint commencement. The remaining 70% balance covers implementation, staging revisions, and production handoff. Both milestones are non-refundable once paid, subject to any non-waivable statutory rights under applicable law.
3. Staging Review & Acceptance
Before the final 70% balance is invoiced, completed deliverables are deployed to a private staging environment for client inspection and testing. The client may request revisions within the agreed project scope during staging review. Payment of the final 70% invoice after staging inspection constitutes formal acceptance of the deliverables, after which source code, credentials, and production deployment are transferred.
4. Payment Processing & Dispute Resolution
Commercial invoices are processed through Dodo Payments (supporting UPI, credit/debit cards, NetBanking, and international payment methods). If a technical issue, scope question, or billing discrepancy arises, please contact support@nexatools.in so we can review and resolve the matter directly.
5. Free Browser Utilities
All public browser utilities, calculators, converters, and developer tools on NexaTools are free to use without subscriptions or paywalls.
6. Statutory Rights & Contact
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or limits any mandatory consumer protection right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law. For billing or contract questions, contact support@nexatools.in.
