About NexaTools
Browser-based utilities for developers and everyday tasks
How processing works across tools
Many calculators, formatters, PDF utilities, and file converters on NexaTools run directly inside your browser. Other features use NexaTools APIs or third-party services—including URL shortening, temporary email, AI-assisted batch planning, code compilation, Microsoft Store package lookups, and site availability checks. NexaShare and NexaVault encrypt file bytes in the browser prior to upload or transfer, while associated metadata and signaling requests travel over the network. Review our Privacy Policy for specific data flows.
What is NexaTools?
NexaTools (nexatools.in) is a collection of browser-based utilities covering PDF editing, code formatting, image conversion, media processing, cryptography helpers, and everyday calculators. Where practical, tools execute in your browser without uploading files to a remote server; where a feature requires a server or external API, our Privacy Policy documents what data is sent.
Who operates NexaTools?
NexaTools is an independently operated web project. It is not affiliated with any large corporation or data broker. Most utilities can be used immediately without creating an account, while specific networked features may request an email address for verification or optional Google sign-in.
How NexaTools is funded
The tools on NexaTools are free to use. Hosting, domain, and maintenance costs are supported through optional user donations, contextual sponsorships (Sponsoric), and custom software development services. We do not sell personal information to data brokers.
Client-side vs. networked architecture
Traditional web utilities often upload every file to a central server for processing and return the output afterward. Wherever modern web APIs allow, NexaTools performs file transformations locally on your device:
Runs compiled media, PDF, and compression libraries in browser memory.
Performs cryptographic hashing, key generation, and AES-GCM encryption in the browser.
Streams files peer-to-peer between browsers after connection setup via our signaling service and Google STUN servers.
Handles image format conversions, EXIF inspection, and color extraction locally.
Core principles
- Clear boundaries: When a tool runs locally, file contents remain in browser memory. When a feature requires network requests, we disclose the provider and purpose in our Privacy Policy.
- Practical performance: Local tools avoid upload round-trips, though large files depend on your device's available RAM and CPU.
- No forced accounts: Standard utilities require no registration.
Third-party infrastructure
NexaTools relies on third-party infrastructure to operate:
- Cloudflare: Content delivery, DNS, DDoS protection, edge Workers, and Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- Google Analytics: Configured with Consent Mode v2 (denied by default unless you accept analytics cookies).
- Feature-specific APIs: Certain tools connect to external endpoints (such as Mail.tm, Compiler Explorer, GitHub, or user-configured AI providers) when you actively use those features.
For complete details, read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
