Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Lawful and responsible use
This policy governs your use of NexaTools browser utilities, URL shortening, encrypted file sharing, peer-to-peer transfer, and API-backed tools.
1. Scope and fair use
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to NexaTools and its public APIs. You may use the service only for lawful purposes and only with data, files, and systems you are authorized to access or process. You are solely responsible for the content you upload, compile, shorten, transfer, or submit to third-party APIs.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Creating or distributing links or files containing malware, spyware, ransomware, phishing lures, credential harvesting, scams, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or unlawful content.
- Sending spam, unsolicited bulk messages, harassment, threats, or deceptive redirects.
- Infringing copyright, trademark, privacy, or intellectual property rights, or processing files without authorization.
- Attempting unauthorized access, credential stuffing, vulnerability exploitation, automated scraping, or abusive scanning against NexaTools, its users, or third-party infrastructure.
- Bypassing rate limits, overloading endpoints, or interfering with platform availability.
- Submitting live credentials, secret keys, or confidential data to third-party AI, compilation, or lookup services without authorization.
3. Encrypted file sharing and peer transfer
Use NexaShare and WebRTC peer-to-peer file transfer only for files you have the right to share. Keep share URLs and decryption keys private. While NexaShare encrypts file contents in the browser before upload, associated filenames, verification emails, and request metadata are processed to operate the service. Anyone holding the full share link can decrypt the shared file. Report suspected abuse or infringement to support@nexatools.in.
4. Rate limits and payload quotas
To keep the service available for everyone, NexaTools enforces rate limits and payload quotas across networked endpoints (such as per-IP rate limits on URL shortening and per-email/IP daily limits on encrypted file uploads). Quotas and payload size caps may be adjusted at any time to prevent abuse or manage infrastructure capacity.
5. Enforcement and abuse reporting
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations, disable shortened links or shared files, block abusive IP addresses, preserve relevant records, and report unlawful activity to appropriate authorities or infrastructure providers. To report abuse, email support@nexatools.in with the relevant URL, short code, or share identifier (do not send private decryption keys).
